abi to mpeg 1 or mpeg 2

i have a couple of programs to do this but they all wont convert them. whats the best program to convert them. i have
Cucusoft AVI to VCD DVD - wont convert my avi's
WinMPG Video Convert - wont work ether
MPEG AVI Converter (windows 1 i think) - wont do it
the reason i wanna do it is becuase when trying to make a dvd with
Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3 Disc Creator, it wont accept .avi's.

Ivideomax... will convert your avi's to MPEG1 or MPEG2.. very simple to use.. very efective.. and not too slow..
