**(Always create a Folder for HiJackThis anywhere but your Temp/Temporary Internet Folders. This is where it will save the backup files needed if there's a problem.)**

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following: (They may or may not be there)

ZDVSBSCE.EXE
TATSS.EXE
DPI.EXE

Turn off System Restore. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.) Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

Go to Control Panel / Add/Remove Programs and remove the following if they are there:

pgtools
tatss
hfsdsngw
zdvsbsce
DPI

Now delete these Folders or Files that are Highlighted: (You may need enable "Show all Files" and disable "Hide System Files" in Windows Explorer / Tools / Folder Options / View Tab) (You may have to boot to "Safe Mode" in order to delete some Files/Folders)

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders (WinXp has up to 4 of them) / Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your "Recycle Bin" and reboot.

A few notes on my last uninstall of logfile. Whenever i ctrl/alt/del i was able to delete only zdvsbsce.exe. Tatss.exe and dpi.exe were not there. I proceeded to turn off system restore and repaired all the regestries you had said to through hijackthis. the only entry i could delete through add//remove was zdvsbsce. pgtools was visible through add/remove but whenever i went to remove it it opened up my ie and promted me if i wanted to delete. i said yes then it prompted me for my dial up connection which i did not proceed with. So i went delete the folders. zdvsbsce.exe, stlbdist.dll and auhook.dll i was able to delete. tatss.exe and dpi.exe where there but whenever i went to delete it said that it was being used by explorer. So i am running into the problem of not being able to close explorer again even in safe mode. it will automatically reopen once i end task. both tatss.exe adn dpi.exe are running through it. i think i need to uninstall it manually through regedit? Here is my new post of HJthis:

If there's anyway possible you need to update Windows. You're going to keep having more problems until you do.

Turn off System Restore. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)
(This would also include the “GoBack” Program if it is installed.)
Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://in.webcounter.cc/-/?bzbjr about:blank (obfuscated)
O19 - User stylesheet: C:\WINDOWS\Web\tips.ini
O19 - User stylesheet: C:\WINDOWS\hh.htt (HKLM)

Now delete these Folders or Files that are Highlighted: (You may need enable "Show all Files" and disable "Hide System Files" in Windows Explorer / Tools / Folder Options / View Tab) (You may have to boot to "Safe Mode" in order to delete some Files/Folders)

C:\WINDOWS\Web\tips.ini
C:\WINDOWS\hh.htt

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders (WinXp has up to 4 of them) / Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your "Recycle Bin" and reboot.

I made the last changed to hijack and deleted everything accordingly. I then was able to instal my tcp/ip only through the software the isp provided. But i was able to use ie once i connected to internet. First place i went was to windows update. i donwloaded 20 of the 22 critical files and everything went smoothly. Then i downloaded ie6 i beleive and after installation i know longer can view my desktop after boot. I tried a millenium boot and tried to do a system restore through c:\windows\system.ini. But I forgot to enable it before I did the windows updates. So im at the point now where I will try a final step and if not i am planning on fdisking drive and doing a complete install. Any final suggestions?
