Both look clean....... Is there anything strange in your win.ini?
What are your symptoms?
What about the other three Computers?

Ok...your response..."Both look clean!" really made me think.
I decided to eliminate the Router to see if it's a network issue.
Just plugged the Moden directly to Nic card...nothing.
So I unplugged the power to the Cable modem, shut down all pc's,rebooted this pc,went to run, typed winipcfg, picked my nic from drop down menu, clicked Renew.....
It's a network issue.
This pc is up,directly through modem....
So what do i do now?
I'll shut down this pc,unplug cat5 from pc nic, unplug power supply from both Modem and Router, plug cat5 back into Router, plug power to Modem, plug power to Router....then I'll boot back up.

Sound right??

I'll let you know in a bit.

Sounds like a plan. I've had Routers that would drop ports or IP's. Reboot always brought them back.

Thx Brad...seems to be ok.
This 1 connected ok,trying the others now.
Is this a tell tale sign the Routers on its way out?

Not necessarily. Guess you'll know if it is...
I've had the most problems with Belkin for some reason.

Hey Brad...there's deffinitly a Network issue...after 10 mins or by the time I got to the 3rd pc...they weren't loading again.
So I'm back on the direct connection to modem for now.
Worked graveyard last nite and it's late...need...sleep.

Anybody has any ideas please feel free to post...

See you when I get up...

I'd try rebooting the Router with all the Computers hooked-up.
Also, try ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew on all of them.
(Win98 you've got to Run winipcfg.exe)

Well I did that...but still wouldn't surf!
So,I shut everything down again, and started from scratch.
I hooked up 1 pc,to the Cable Moden, ran Wincfg and got the 24.71.xxx.xx
Shut everything down, plugged into Router and Ran the D-Link Admin.
The correct IP showed up...24.71.xxx.xx
Then ran Winipcfg on pc again...this time the network IP showed up...192.168.0.1
Everything seems to be ok.
I just booted up another one and it's surfing and bringing in the mail.
So my fingers are crossed.
