 I've had trouble ever since I got a new computer back in
November. Had to rent one 2 weeks ago, no problem. Mine
came back and the problem still exists. I sign on to my
ISP. After a minute (sometimes not even a minute) it
doesn't respond at all.NOT disconnected, I have to
disconnect and reconnect again. This could happen 15
times in 15 minutes. I've asked other message boards and
no one can help. I've been exploring on my own and when I
do Ctrl Alt Del, there are 42 processes. Is it possible
there is something running that I can disable? In the
task manager that is?
I have Windows XP
Compaq S5000.
Thanks

I did that back in December at the suggestion of someone and it made no difference. That is, I ran it and it found nothing. It is a good program however.

Put a check beside these in HiJack This and click Remove/Repair:
(Close all windows first)
C:\Program Files\ISP50\bin\bartshel.exe
C:\Program Files\ISP50\bin\bartshel.exe
(Yes, it's in there twice)

Let us know how that worked.
