Folder or file prob

Postby Joe_90 » Mon Nov 10, 2003 12:49 am

I don't know how it's happened but I can't seem to get proper access to files. (For example I can open jpeg files within my photo software but not by clicking on them). Have my permissions been corrupted somehow ? Can somebody help. ta.

Probably the file association of jpg's has either been lost or changed to some other program. What happens when you double click on a jpg?

The easiest way to change file associations is to
left mouse click once the type of file you want to change file associations,
now press and hold the Shift button and right click on the highlighted file from the pop-up select “Open With”.
In the “Open With” window check the box “Always use the selected program”
now just choose the program that you want to open the file with.
