I hope you're aware that they've gone back to a WWII setting. and it's made by a different dev.

I had someone in a lecture start banging on about it and when I told them it was WWII they say 'is it?' and went very quiet.

Check a review or 2 before buying :P
Personally I like http://www.gametrailers.com

well Psymon, i went off to your link (which is a great site) in search for cod5 vids and came across f.e.a.r. 2 vids. I am a major fear fan and now im more excited anout that than cod. I've played the first fear and both expansions and had the crap scared out of me a few times in the process. I watched some of the trailers in awe at the improved detail to previous releases. Thanks for the link, cant believe i havent been there before.

anyway, i got completely sidetracked. Im cool with the WWII theme, medal of honor and several others were based on it and i enjoyed those. My biggest interest is in the actual gameplay and graphic design more so than the setting. I was impressed with cod4's graphics and overall game physics and i hope to see a little of the same with this one. I found 4 to be extremely cinematic, amazing cut scenes and the ending was phenomenal.

holy $%^#!

I finally bought it yesterday and as a direct result i was late for work today! Amazing game. Multiplayer co-op is a ton of fun, thank god someone finally made another co-op game. Theres a great scoring system in multi, ranks and so on. in short, worth the $.

Hey Jim, have you tried the Nazi zombie mode yet?

From what i have heard everyone say, it’s not very good for multiplayer at all. Most people i know who bought it, had cod4, and they said it’s much better for multi player.

I was going to buy cod5, but because everyone said it wasn’t as good, I bought cod4 for the ps3. I haven’t even started single player, multiplayer is insane. Probably the best online game I have played in a long time. i got it for quiet cheap too, which is the other reason I choose it over the new 1.

I played the Nazi zombie mode round a friend’s house and i thought that was very fun, but apparently that’s the best bit of it.

Since I bought cod4, I’ve spent about 14 hours online, and that’s just when i have odd bits of time to play :D

No i havent, i've been playing through the missions in co-op. Havent started single player nor did i try the nazi zombies yet.

Im playing on a lan, not internet, but i assume its all in how you setup the server. When your playing someone else's server online your playing by their rules. Theres different game types also, CFT, last man standing, co-op missions and so on.

COD4 i've only played single player and really enjoyed it. I cant compare the 2 in multiplayer.

It's better in mission mode than multiplayer. COD4 is way better in multiplayer mode.
