Hey guys, I'm having a problem with Gears of War for PC.

Game has been perfect up until now, but on the level with the Kryll, you walk into this room and your in a shootout, its fine for a minute or so, then either the screen goes black, the screen completely freezes (but u can still tell you are moving around behind the frozen screen (can still hear shooting etc)), or the crosshair and HUD dissapears.

Really annoying cos I'm loving this game and want to play til the end

Any ideas guys?

From what I've heard, GoW for PC is littered with bugs.

All I can advise for now is to make sure your game has the latest patch, you have the latest directX installed, and your GPU drivers are up to date.

Thanks, know where to find the patch? I cant seem to find an official one.

It should automatically update through microsoft LIVE

oh so GFWL does game updates already? I've never played a game that uses it. That'll all change once GTA IV comes out on PC of course. I hear its having a big make over soon.

not all of them do but gears will automatically update. you are forced to sign into live to save anything, thats the biggest complaint i have with it anyway. Fallout 3 can be played with or without live. So far those are the only 2 i've played with it.
