Support with onboard video and Call of Duty

Postby agent589 » Fri Jan 09, 2004 3:36 pm

maybe any of you can lend me some ideas what is the matter with my server, its running an XP1900, 512 ram,SIS onboard LAN,sound, and graphics, win2000 server. For the life of me i cant get the game to work, i have tried just about everything. I get a message that says i have no graphics card, is there any known problems with onboard video and call of duty that anyone knows of? Im going crazy because i want to get a dedicated server going.

Onboard graphics cards are notoriously crap - maybe the game needs an adaptor that supports a certain level of directX and yours doesn't? If you want to run it as a server, are there command line options you can pass to specify this, which may bypass the requirement for a graphics card?

What about a configuration program for the game? Some games have a launcher which allows you to configure certain serttings before you get into the game proper?
