Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay Issues

I just recently received this Escape from Butcher Bay with my new 7800GTX vid card, and I've had issue after issue. I resolved a few of the crash issues by using the Knowledge Base on the Vivendi Universal site, but I still have a serious video shuttering issue.

It's like I'm laggin, vene though I am not on the internet and I am getting 60-100 fps on average. I have all the latest drivers for my sound and vid cards, and I am runing a system that is far more than adequate for the game. So if anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate the help.

System:
Nvidia 7800GTX 256MB PCI Express
AMD Athlon X2 64 4200+ Dual-Core
2gig PC3200
On-board 7.1 surround sound

I had a simular issue with GUN, for me it was a distance clipping setting in the graphic options of the game along with a few other options that were turned off. I dont have riddick (yet) so i cant say what to change but its probably going to be a trial and error solution. With the system your running, you can turn on everything and run just fine and thats where i would start. Enable all graphics options and if its not smooth, turn them off one by one and see if you find the one thats causing the problem.

Well, no luck. I actually have Gun, and I don't think this is the same issue as in that game. But thanks anyway.
