Prince Of Persia Sands of Time - Freeze up

Has anyone ever had any trouble loading this game after installing it. When I go to run it I get the MASTERTRONIC and title splash screens then the screen goes blank and my pc freezes up. When I restart my pc and reload the game I get a message box appear asking if I want to play it in 'safemode' I say yes and it runs fine.

What graphics card are you using? Try getting the latest drivers for your graphics card, and also any updates/patches for the game.

Yeah the company that made the game told me that but everything is up to date. Ive been having strange problems with my dam machine for a while and I just cant find any reason why. Computers take over the world? Pah, no chance. ;)
