The Wi-fi is optional....you have to buy it seperatly, and yeah you need a wireless router to connect to the internet that way. But I believe that Axelation is refering to connecting the 360 via ethernet wire to the modem. Honestly that is the first time I have heard of that and I dont know....but at my friends house he has his 360 on the same router as his computer and from his xbox 360 he can access music from his computer.

Yes I am referring to hooking up with ethernet wire to a modem. Has to go through a router. Weird, but true.
