MS Access 2007 queries?

Howdy.

I have an assignment to get through and I'm stuck, and unfortunately my tutor is away for 2 weeks.
I have a question concerning queries, I'm just a bit hazy on them. All I really know is that they are a way of manipulating data in a database.
Anyways, I am doing a simple database for a fictional orchard. There are employees that work on a date, with different start and finish times.

What I want to do with the query and form is:
Make it so a user can select a employeeID, and 2 different dates and it will list which employees worked between those 2 dates.

The tricky part is that 'WorkDate' is only a single field, and my tutor indicated that I needed to use an expression. I have uploaded my database so far (dont worry its small) so you can see what I have done. (Also, disregard the form, I was just messing around trying to get things working)

The expression he gave me was:
> = And = <

And I'm not sure how I would work that in either. I've sat here for hours now trying to get it working to no prevail lol.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I really not sure, but as a tech, we just know where to look to find the answer.

I would google "access 2007 tutorial" and shop around, there is a lot of material. You should find an answer. A lot of times the title to an article might give you a clue as how to refine your google search.

Thanks ice. I have looked online many times but the tutorials always fall short of my understanding. Was semi hoping I could have some 1 on 1 help here so I can ask questions etc.

What would be the graphical equivilent in MS Access 2007 to do that?

The easiest way I can think of is to use Access's Time and Billing sample database.
It has everything you will need already built into it, so you can use it as a sample.

From Access choose File > New, on the right select "General Templates" > Database tab > Time and Billing
Once it's built the database go to the Forms section and you will see the Report Date Range form. Also look into the quires to see how they are built using the Report Date Range form.

I'm still at the query stage, I'm not worrying about reports at the moment =)
