partition magic

So, I believe some of you may have used it before.
How reliable is it?

I have 30gigs or so partitioned for a Linux install, which I may as well rejoin into the 1TB windows partition.

Am I better off partitioning the 30gigs in windows disk manager then merging with partition magic, or doing the whole thing in partition magic?
Is it safe?

with a drive that large, i wouldnt know what to really expect. If u want to merge it back then u need to let partition magic do all of it. Ive used it for years and its never let me down but as ive explained before its reliability is 99.9% so theres always that .1% chance that it doesnt work right.

I think what i will do is backup everything again to my external drive just to be safe, im sure like you say it would be fine. Almost makes me feel that i should just make a new partition of the 30gigs i have spare, but i dont know what id need a seperate 30 gigs for. id like it to be neat.

I will let you know what i decide
