Burning a DVD

I've been using an older version of Nero (V6.3.1.19) to back up DVD files with Windows XP. I've been using this for quite some time because it came with a Burner at some point, and it's remained free for me to use.

Now the problem:

I just got a new Laptop and it came with Vista. My version of Nero says it doesn't work with this version of windows. When I get it back home I'll try to look for an update, but am a little worried about causing a crash of the system.

Anyone have an idea of a free dvd burning software that I can use or should I just try to look for updates and keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't crash the system?

Thanks for the help

Junior

Yo Junior.

ImgBurn is your friend and its free. I run Vista Pro 64 and it works great.
