Hi All,

I have came cross a software application a few year ago, that allows us to install the other OS like windows 98 in Windows2000, no need to reboot our PC and select from the mulitboot menu, we can simply launch the windows 98 directly when we are on the wondows2000 desktop.

I do not remember what is the name of that software, can anyone help?

Thanks a lot for your help!
Bill

Thats called a virtual enviroment and Sun Microsystems has a program that allows it.

http://dlc.sun.com/virtualbox/vboxdownload.html

I've used it and ran ubuntu in windows. Its pretty simple to setup.

Virtual box is great, we actually use it in Ubuntu, to run Windows XP, Vista, Server 2003 within Ubuntu. It actually runs faster in linux than stand-alone. LOL
