my browser, my messenger, and flash.

so, i like youtube and such, but whenever i'm watching a video on youtube, or other similar sites, and i get a message from msn messenger saying someone comes online, my browser freezes... it happened with alot of websites, but only recently with youtube (since they updated their video player). i figure it's probably something to do with flash, but software's not my area of expertise, as it were. so, any ideas? do i just need to update flash player, or what?

If theres a flash update available then yes, i suggest you update it. If using internet explorer, check for windows updates also.

i don't use ie, and i updated flash, but it still happens. anyone got a clue?
