What Software can i use?

Hello

Is there any software out there that i can use to:-

Add a scrolling message ( that can be changed when i need to ) so that is scrolls along the bottom of a DVD?

Is this a home made DVD or a commercially bought one?

Its a home made dvd ( friend of mine owns his own company and this is the dvd that plays in reception to advertise the company) what he needs to do is type a message on the pc which he may change which scrolls along the bottom of the playing DVD.
