Firefox is better than IE for numerous reasons, mainly for spyware resistance. The security is better, the program itself is much more stable.
I dont know what your talking about with the double clicking. Normally, in a web page, your only clicking links once. If you can explain that a little more i'll try to help.

instead of having to use my mouse i could just tap n twice on the keyboard, maybe it was only once, i dont remember. but i know there was a way to go to the next page without having to use a mouse. at the very least it worked on amazon.
firefox seems to be alittle more stable, sites seem to loader faster. but IE seems to be better in just about everything else. the way it handles tabs and bookmarks, i like the idea of the master password thing but it sucks everytime i open firefox to check gmail after i put in the master password i have to then click login anyways.
after the third chance of trying firefox the more i use this less i like it. and i know people really into computers always recommend it but im just not getting it. its performance seems better but its user interaction seems far below IE.
