I don't know if this is operating system question, really I don't know what other forum I should be asking this question. I am an American citizen, recently moved to Argentina, and I want to download a few TV episodes from the states. However, when I attempt to download a particular episode I'm informed that only people living in the U.S. are able to download the free episodes. Is there a way to change my identity code? (Do not know if that is the right word) I bought and registered my computer in Oregon. So I don't know what to do at this point. Advice would be greatly appreciaterd.

i doubt theres much you can do in regards to an "id". It most likely pings your internet provider which would be a server in Argentina. If you dont mind sharing, whats the site your trying to download from?

I was trying to download from abc.com/nbc.com
Is there any other websites besides itunes to download tv shows?

the only thing i can think of is using a p2p app like limewire or bittorent. I know alot of the torrent sites have tv shows avaliable.

Also, there is a program called HideIP Pro. What it does is it lets you surf from a proxy, so it looks like you are surfing the net from some remote location. The tricky part from this is that you would have to keep making it find a proxy until you found one in the US. Once you did that you can then surf to that site, it will think you are in the US and let you do what you want.

There may be better programs for this, but this is one. Try searching for Proxy Software on Google and maybe it will help.
