CD Copy and CD-RW

I want to use the CD Copy option of Nero Burning ROM with CD-RW media as destination.
If I correctly understand this option finalizes the destination CD.
Is this even true if I use a CD-RW media?
Will CD-RW become CD-ROM after CD Copy operation?

Yes it will finalize the CD but if it is a CDRW then you can rewrite to it by erasing what was there first.
