I have a usb storage device 128mb.

It could play music and also store things.

It stopped working a while ago and now seems ok. Ive lost the disk that came with it. A t the moment it will just store things, ivetried putting mp3s on and putting it in the play mode but theres no noise so has lost its mp3 player function

Anyone know how i can make it back into an mp3player. I have nothing to tell me what make this device is.

Is there any software that can be used to make it do mp3s again?

Can you load a song onto the usb device and verify that its on the drive? If so, go start media player and and point to the song and try to play it. Does it play?

How about this, open windows media player 10 series, and theres the tab SYNC, i asume that if you have a audio device in there it will syncranise them, so you couild trasnfere your music over thru that, is that correct any one?

I hope it helps, i think that should work, unless its like not detecting it as a music device at all.

If the computer is not detecting it as a music device, then you might need to install drivers, go to the manufacturer's website and look for the drivers...
