Everest Home Edition

Postby badpolarbear » Mon Feb 07, 2005 3:56 pm

Every time I come into the site lately that Everest Home Editon kept smacking me in the eye. Today I decided to download and install it. I think I need to sit down now and learn just what all it can do. From a first impression at a quick glance it looks to be quite interesting. Im sure it is going to open my eyes and increase my knowledge in the pc world. Does anyone have any tips about the software that can help me maintain my system?

i could swear that Everest Home Editon is the old Sandra Pro software. Looks and feels the same.

As for what you may need to keep your system running good. Norton System Works 2005 is a good one, don't install it, run it from the cd once a month. Perfect Disk 7.0 is an excellet defrager--its slow but excellent. And JV 16 Power Tools is an excellent registry cleaner, it complements Norton Win Doctor

Thanks for the reply icecube. For system maintenace Im using System Mechanic 5 Pro and RegVac Pro for registry cleaning. Im not having any problems with keeping the system running smoothly. I was just curious about Everest. You know how it is when you get some new software and you have a lot of learning to do. Sometimes little tips from other uers of the same software can be usefull.
