Is it safe to delete zero-byte files. When I scan with TuneUP Utilities DiskCleaner I am getting some zero-byte files (at the moment I have only 4) which are the following:

Mouse.ini (C:\Software\PowerQuest\Partitionmagic 8.0\Dos) - Configuration Setting [0KB]

MsiExec.exe.8cb23528.ini.inuse (C:\Documents and Settings\Daniel Fenech\Local Settings\Application Data\ApplicationHistory) - INUSE file [0KB]

Outlook.NK2 (C:\Documents and Settings\Daniel Fenech\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook) - Office Data File [0KB]

textfile.txt (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\templates\MseNewFileItems) - Text Document [0KB]

Yes it is safe. However those files may be needed down the road. Like the Mouse.ini (C:\Software\PowerQuest\Partitionmagic 8.0\Dos) - Configuration Setting [0KB]. Since you have probably never run Paritionmagic in DOS mode you dont have any settings in that .ini file. But if you do, it will need that file.

My advice is to leave them. None of them seem harmful. :)
