Postby venney » Mon Dec 13, 2004 2:00 pm

My grandparents have a problem with there outlook express.

Heres the error message they get.

"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'pop.tiscali.co.uk', Server: 'pop.tiscali.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F"

It worked perfectly before and i know nouthing about stupid outlook express i coudlnt even get an account up and running so im at a loss for what to do for them.

Please help if you can.

Have them go to their ISP's website.

Most ISPs offer a free configuration .reg file that will automatically setup outlook and outlook express.
And if not then they should have step-by-step instruction on how to setup outlook and outlook express.

Last if that doesn’t work post back here and I’ll work you through it. :)
