Messenger 6 Error

Im running windows xp. Currently i cant log into Messenger 6 with or without the plus pack.

When i try to log in i get an error telling me there is an error with either the service or with my internet connection.

However i can log into MSN Messenger, the one that comes with windows xp. Can any one tell me why this is?

Close windows messenger completly (rightclick\exit) then try msn messenger again.

MSN messes up alot. If you find ur self in a problem where when messenger loads at startup, and your computer freezes, your best to deleted it. Its happened to me b4
