eg.blue shift, Counter strike 1.5, opposing force (steam programs do not cause this error)
3.I close the game
4.I click shut down, then ok
5.It leaves the desktop and this error comes up and the only way i can get rid of it is to manaully turn off my pc

Hi venney,

A Fatal Exception 0D is an error message that is most commonly found, but not limited to, out dated or damaged video display adapter drivers and out dated multimedia software;

Have him check to see that his video drivers are up to date.
