Msn Messenger problem

I dlled msn beta 7.0
And now i uninstalled but its still using 7.0 when I click on the icon to sign in, but now even thats gone!

I have the MsnMsg.msi thing that they asked me for, now where to put it?

Hi Melv Image

Did you remove Messenger 7.0 from the Add/Remove Programs location?

What you may need to do is go to C:\Windows\Program Files\Messenger and remove that folder as well. I would remove any traces of Messenger 6 also, then try the d/l again.

I would do as Geekgirl says and uninstall both Version 6 and 7 from Add-Remove Programs.
Then D/L the version you want from here...
