bittorrent crud.......

Postby hue_jass » Fri Aug 13, 2004 4:54 pm

yes to bittorrent works great for the most part.......

every time I click on a link to download a torrent, this comes up:
Image

"C:\documents and settings\scot\local settings\ temporary internet files\content.IE5\8x7efmh6\****.torrent"
^^ this error shows for ANY torrent not just the Naruto ep that I was just downloading and happened to put up online...

I've never had this problem before and so I was wondering why everytime I click on a torrent that pops up.....I have to click ok like 5 times and then I can save the file to my computers harddrive and begin downloading it. but the fact that this stupid "ERROR" message comes up is just annoying.

You know the drill...........
Download / Install / and Update: . Now Run it and post a copy of the Log File here.
**(Always create a Folder for HiJackThis anywhere but your Temp/Temporary Internet Folders. This is where it will save the backup files needed if there's a problem.)**

You're right, it's clean.
Why is the Program saving to the Temporary Internet Files Folder anyhow?
Is that what it's supposed to do? Do you have an option to choose where Files are saved?

im glad i helped you
:)
have good time downlaoding stuff, but bit of advice, the files u downlaod get very badly fragmented. so if u r donwlaodin large files, go to defrag and run an analysis thing and ul find that the file u downlaoded isnt helping.lol
