What is your opionion of Reg Mechanic

A friend told me this was a good program to use, would like your opinion of using it on Windows XP. Also I am not having any current problems so I guess I question the need to run it in the first place.

I personally don't use this particular program but after reading up on it I suppose it wouldn't hurt.
But why fix something thats not broken...ever hear the saying???


Always back up your registry before editing, I can't say it enough

I am leery of automated registry editing, it can surly mess up a system if you’re not careful and don’t make backups.

There is one program that I have found to be very good for cleaning up the registry.
It’s called and it has never let me down,
I have yet to have to use a backup because of the program.
