Everytime I startup 'Outlook Express 6' on Windows XP Home edition 2002, my America Online Instant Messenger program starts with it and hangs my Outlook for a bit, then I have to shutdown AIM. Is there a fix to this, other than uninstalling AIM (not an option).

That should do it. If not, go to MSCONFIG / Startup and uncheck it there. Better yet locate where its starting from and delete it there. (Registry or Programs/Startup Folder)
