Hello there, i believe i can help you here.
As far as i am aware, clone cd doesnt actually have emulation.
The emulation you are talking about is a virtual drive, what this does is allow you to mount an image of a disk and run it from a 'virtual' disk drive.

The newer games/software have protection against this. So to make sure you have baught their software and are running the correct disk not an image or a mini image (mini image is a small disk image that is altered to be very small by changing all the 1's to 0's or something along those lines, but serves the same purpose as a disk image) it checks for emulation software running.

There are ways around this though.
SR7 Stop v1.0 + virtual-cd-hide
are both good working emulation hiding software.
If you download 1 of them and use it that should sove your problem, although you may have find them hard to find.

How ever, if you have daemon tools installed, make sure that isnt running because that may cause this problem, Alcohol 120% has a virtual drive, so make sure you dont have anything mounted in either of them.

I do NOT have Daemon installed, in fact I never had any problems at all until I installed CloneCD  Now I cant get any CD Rom to run!!! Any way to remove CD Clone completely? I have done a Registry back date and scanned my sytem for Clone CD traces but am still getting the same error message about "CD/DVD Emulation software installed" and disable this before continuing, But I dont Know where it is..... Thanks Pete

When you open My computer, are there any virtual drives showing up there?
They just look like normal drives, but obv they arent real.

The problem is because of a virtual drive, im quite sure of this.
A while ago i belive i had a problem similar. I had virtial drives showing up but i diddnt have any software that i was aware off that sorted this.

Im afraid i dont really know what next step to take would be.
Wait for someone else to help.

Hi again  I found a solution to my problem by surfing around the web and came up with a little gem of a program called Anti-Blaxx this disables virtual drives and allows me to load my CD Roms again :) . Thanks for your help Pete

Anti Blaxx is a registry trick thing. I personally wouldnt recommend using it. You can use it but make sure you disable it each time as a reboot doesnt disable it.

SR7 Stop v1.0 does the same thing, when i get home (im at college now) il look for a download link, id recommend using that, its alot user friendly and seems to work alot better than anti blaxx.
