Microsoft Outlook 2002 (XP)

Postby Daninku » Sat Jan 08, 2005 10:33 pm

I'm running Windows XP, and I use Microsoft Outlook to read my e-mail (POP). But all of a sudden, I am getting an error AFTER recieving the e-mails pending. Another hint is, that I can't send e-mails, because I will get the same error:

Task 'pop.onvol.net - Sending and recieving' reported error (0x800CC0D): 'Unable to find the e-mail server. Please verify the server information in your account properties.'

Yup... my account properties are set good, and with Outlook Express it's working fine without no errors at all. Have contacted my ISP and told me to check your account properties blah blah blah... Just to make sure, I followed their instructions.

What is wrong with MICROSOFT OUTLOOK?! Any help would be appreciated.

Check your firewall software. Thats a big stopper for Outlook. Disable your firewall and see if you can connect.
