Microsoft Excel 2000

While using an excel (not while opening) i get this error

The instruction 0x0074ebc ref. memory at 0x0081fqfe memory could not be read.

i also get this error again while working on another excel doc.

instruction at 0x30074ebc ref memory 0x0081fofe cannot be read.

(while using two different files)

If neone has happened to see this before , or would have any suggestions please let me know.

Additional info -
the mem usage on the two files are as following
9,260k on one (this file is close to 600 lines)
and 8,000k on another...
thats without using the clipboard.

when using the clipboard to try and copy over the information to a new file it crashes with same error's ... bringing it in relly small quantities there is no error.
