Dell Latitude D510

I have a dell latitude d510 that the screen has gone bad on, but I can get a working dell latitude d600 screen for pretty cheap. The two screens look like they could be compatible but I don't know for sure. Can anybody help me.

I can replace the screen easily enough I just need to know if the two screens are compatible before I go buy the d600 screen.

looks can be very deceiving, you need to try to locate the actual part number of both screens. Theres a possibility that they are identical but as soon as i say it is and you buy it, it wont work and it will all be my fault. Id be comfortable saying that if the manufacture part numbers match then go for it.
