I am debating on an external firewire/usb2.0 hard drive.
I would like to know if there is much difference between this type of drive and an internal drive, speed etc.,
Thanks

Also I forgot to mention the external drive I am thinking of buying is a 160 gb 2mb cache, what attracts me is the price £110.
My internal drives are 8mb cache would I notice much difference between 2mb and 8mb.
Thanks
jack
