RAM read/write slow

Hi again guys,

I downloaded everest and ran the memory test, the results are dubious.. its sayin the read/write times of my ram are down (i ran the tests in safe mode):

read : 3055 MB/s
write : 1137 Mb/s
latency : 61.9 ns

the latency seems correct..

i should be scoring around (scores for same A8n-sli,4800+,pc3200):

read : 5100 MB/s
write : 1650 Mb/s
latency : 62.2 ns

Corsair listed speed :

Read 5378
Write 2044
Latency 51.3

my ran timings are :

Set : Manual
Freq : 400mhz
TCL : 2
TRAS : 6
TRCD : 3
TRP : 3
TRC : 10
TRFC : 12
TRWT : 2
TWR : 3
1T/2T : 2T

the timings 2-3-3-6 are recommended by corsair.

And suggestion as to why im gettin the low read/write times ?

instead of running manual timings, set it to SPD and see if it helps.

How much memory do you have?
How many sticks?

The machine im currently on has 1 gig (2-512 sticks) ddr400 or pc3200 (same thing) of corsair xms

write 1504
latency 57.7

thats with a very modest 3-3-3-8 timing
