Issues with LCD Screen (Proview LCD 900P)
Posted: Mon Sep 18, 2006 10:22 pmI recently purchased a Packard Bell machine, which came with a 19'' LCD Screen by Proview (model number900P).
My issue is that although it is very clear and crisp and bright for most things, playing videos (especially in widescreen)
is a DISASTER. The images are always blurred and pixellated, and colours are always horrendous. This is for anything from DVDs
to downloaded movies etc.
Ive played around with all the settings, changing the resolution etc but nothing seems to help, so Im guessing its because the make of the
monitor is so cheap and the screen is so big that the hardware cant make the image nice and clear on such a large scale? Im so so gutted, particularly
because my 5 year old laptop is about ten times better at showing videos
is there anything i can do?
