First, thanks for checking it out.

I'll try to keep this as short as possible. My PC specs will be after I describe my problem.

I was running an AMD XP1800 (1300mhz) with everything going fine. Games ran, programs, no Windows crashes. I bought Doom3 and realized I needed to upgrage my CPU so I bought an AMD XP2400 which is supported by my MB. I tried to overclock the processor with no luck. Windows, IE...basically everything would just crash or the PC would litterally not start at all. I removed the batter from my MB to reset the CMOS which did work. I then decided I would simply be happy with making the one change from 100mhz FSB to 133mhz FSB so that the new processor would at least run at it's designed speed (2000mhz). For a while IE was crashing all the time for no reason. Games would start or try to, then drop me right back to my desktop.

So that brings me to where I am now. I have updated to Windows XP PRO SP2, updated video card drivers, MB Bios, CMOS has only been adjusted to 133mhz FSB, no voltage changes. The issue is that games just don't work anymore. All other programs work fine, no more IE crashes. I reinstalled DOOM3 and it still won't work. Sometimes it opens and looks like it will start then it dumps me to the desktop and sometimes as it's loading it gives me an OPENGL error. It worked with the old processor but just didn't have good performance.

Aside from that, Wolfenstein ET which I've been playing for a LONG time with no problems will crash just a few seconds after the game loads. Both of these games are not on my C drive (OS drive) but on a seperate one all together.

Any thoughts?

Hi Arastar

An OpenGL error indicates that the OpenGL drivers for your video card may not be installed or may be corrupt. Some driver installers do not properly check for correct installation of OpenGL drivers. Drivers downloaded and updated through Microsoft's "Windows Update" will not include OpenGL drivers.
Your video card may not have OpenGL support, however most modern video cards do in fact support OpenGL, either in hardware or emulated in drivers.

Did you have SP2 installed before these games started giving you errors? If not that could possibly be your problem
