Hello i have a home build old tower with windows xp an amd processor, only a networks card..i do not have a video card installed...
when i start my pc the monitor says no video input...this happened after the computer had gone to sleep..
i've tried reseting the ram,starting the pc only with the motherboard,holding the power button for a minute...i've checked the sata hard drive on another pc and works perfectly...please help becouse i dont know what else to do..

So your PC comes with onboard video.
Seems you cannot wake up the computer after it went to sleep mode.
No screen display.

I would suggest we use other working RAM of just use a paper rubber to clean the original RAM pins on both side.
Swap the RAMs on different RAM slot.
Change the mobo small battery, and reseat the PSU power connector to the mobo.

Have you tried checking the monitor with another working computer just on the off chance it's the monitor or the connecting cable?

The problem seems only happened after the system gone sleep mode so the monitor should be ok.

We should check the Bios setting, the system power scheme and try using a USB mouse if the PC is having the PS/2 mouse.

If there is other working PSU, please replace that and try again.
