Hey guys im a v.novice pc builder (this is my first). I'm trying to upgrade my 7-8 year old pc as a dry run before risking damaging exspensive parts. As far as i can tell i have an ms6787 ver 2 mother board which has an intel celeron D cpu, i believe from my online research that i can upgrade to a p4 (if this is wrong please tell me) im just wondering wether a 3.06 ghz 512 kb will out perform an 2.8 ghz 1mb cpu. Its now my sons and hes an avid gamer mostly online though. Any advice would be great.
