should be a nice rig, for AV software ive used avira for years with no probs. The free version does just fine. So does AVG free edition. I've put it on customers pc's for 10 years and no complaints.

I stopped using AVG, it does not play well with Combofix and it's become a resource hog.
I have this one neighbor that used to get infections about every week or two, what I found works great for him is Microsoft Security Essentials along with Internet Explorer browser. Since I installed Microsoft Security Essentials on their system and uninstalled FireFox 3 months ago, I haven't been call about cleaning up their system.
