New hardware problem

recently i bought for my computer 4 gb of ram (2x2GB) Transcend 4GB DDR2-800 Ram Kit
And a new graphics card (Radeon HD 6670 Sapphire)
But they dont seem to work properly when i use the 4gb ram the system cant boot it either stucks in the beginning or after the loading screen i get a blue screen saying something about new hardware drivers
And the graphics card every time i play a game it's crashing or causing the monitor to go to power saving mode i changed my power plan i tried everything i am desperate
My pc specs are
Motherboard G31M-S2L
Monitor Flatron L1732P
PSU 500W(Dont remember the model)
Old graphics card Nvidia 8400 GS Asus
CPU Intel Core Quad CPU Q6600
