Help wiring fan controller please

Hi
I have recently purchsed a fan controller from ebay to control upto 4 fans it has 4 black and red wires labelled fans 1-4 and it has a black and yellow wire with nothing writen on it.
so the black and red go straight to the 4 fans i want to control and the yellow and black to the psu??This is the part im not to sure off i thought i would check with people who know rather than do it wrong..

I would need to know more about the controller you bought before I would attempt to answer where to plug a lead into.
Make & model at least.

It dont evan have a make and model its just a cheapy one from ebay i will try put up a pic

clennonuk,

The black and yellow wire connector is a 4 Pin Molex connector, used for the power needed to run the adapter.
There might be an extra apposing plug for this Molex connector coming from your system power supply, depending on how old your system is. If you don't have an extra connector coming from your power supply then you will need a 4 Pin Molex splitter like this: Image
