Question on building a desktop

Hi, I'm new to the site. I joined because I have a question about building a Windows Desktop, I recently went to someone who has a good reputation with building and selling computers to get my desktop made. He gave me a list of parts and I was wondering if it was good for what I wanted. I do a lot of graphic design but didn't go for a Mac because I play a lot of games too, so I want a Desktop that can handle both. I do graphics that go up to about 600dpi so I need a somewhat high end PC. I knew a lot about desktop parts back in 03 but I lost track and now I have no clue about any of the new parts so that's why I was hoping you all could help. These are the specs he gave me, not sure if he left out anything, was wondering if you all could give me an average price of what something like this would cost and if this is a good build for what I want. Thanks so much if anyone helps.

That should handle anything you ask of it but prices vary alot. Your looking at a grand in parts without listing a case, monitor or operating system.

Ok, thanks a lot. I have a monitor already so I'll see if I can find a good case and the operating system, thanks again
