Stupid PNY...

Postby Tomha88 » Tue Jun 24, 2003 8:06 pm

I recently bought new PNY Verto GeForce 4 MX440-SE AGP card for my PC. No idea wether its any good, but i really needed some kind of cheap upgrade from my tired old TNT2. Anyway, I succesfully installed the card, but when I started trying to play games (I tried Battlefield 1942, Morrowind, and GTA: Vice City) I found after a few seconds play, the game would lock up and I would be forced to reboot my PC. I have the lastest drivers, Direct X etc. and have been looking through FAQ's everywhere, but none of the things mentioned seem to make any difference.
Help?! :(

Locking up could be an overheating issue or a driver issue. What OS are you running?

What about overheating - do you have any temp sensors on your machine that you can monitor?
