All there is, is the amount of RAM in the top left, and it says "Compaq Deskpro 2000" in the bottom right. F10 and F12 don't work. I found a softpaq for the configuration utility when I press F10, but its on floppy disk, not the hard disk. I want it so I can enter it on start up without having to use floppy disks.

OK, ive found out the problem iv got with the CPU.

The CPU i'm trying to put in is a i486 chip (I think, could be a i686 chip), and the motherboard uses a i586 chip.

Any way of turning the motherboard to i486/i686 or just making the CPU work on a i586 motherboard?
