Postby robbro » Fri Jan 18, 2008 11:44 pm

Hi guys! i know im never on here lately sorry for that... im kinda worried i just trying to build my new pc and it wont boot up... i connected all the right leads from the case to the motherboard but it wont power on at all... all i get is a green flashing light on the board.. just wondered what that meant as i cant see to find it out anywhere :(.

Board : p5n-t deluxe
cpu : quad core intel 2.40ghz
ram: crucial ballistix 2gb 1066mhz
graphics card 8800gts

I checked all the leads for the power to the motherboard and connections to the hard drives so i aint a clue whats wrong im scared somethings broken now :(. If someone can reply as soon as you can it be great !

I tried to call asus and get some information on the light robbro but i gave up after holding for 30 minutes. You may try the tech support on your side of the pond and see if you get a real person.

that should be plenty of power

remove the memory, power up and see if it beeps. If it does, put it back in and remove the vid card, power up and see if it beeps.

if it doesnt beep with vid and memory missing, you might just have a bad board.
