Cooling

Postby simmons » Wed Apr 21, 2004 4:41 pm

Hi im new here and was looking if anyone could help me.

I have a P4 3.06ghz PC which is in my room. the base unit is in a desk cupboard so gets very hot!!!

What would be the best way of keping it cool, bear in mind that the cupboard door is closed most of the time, and i would like to keep it that way if at all possible. My comp is on 24/7 connected to the web using BB.

thanks in advanced

If the computer cant get any airflow,it will run hot constantly. You may want to consider at least leaving a crack in the door to allow air to enter.Removing the door would be better. You should know that too much heat can cause serious damage, continuous heat will kill your CPU.

The only other option i could think of would be watercooling.
