help cooling issue with product. not living up to the money

here is some basics

i5 2500k
asus p8z68 deluxe/gen3
Intel Liquid Cooling Solution RTS2011LC Liquid cooling system
Raidmax blade case

and im having issues with temp not staying low as it should

Im new to computers, i just want it to stay cool as it suppose to because i tossed the extra cash in order for it to do its job

temps are going up to 57 c while max load and on idle on 40c(not overclocked and fans speed hasn't exceeded 969rpms(unless thats a issue as well))

and i find that weird because the stock heatsink does that?

ive read it that this cooler is suppose to keep it cooled down to 30c and 41 max load(with the extreme series cpus and the
i7 2600k reviews)

I used the the thermal paste that came with the cooler i bought? if that might be the reason why its not doing what its suppose to. I have the the cooler set up chassis/fan/radiator/fan

I just want some advice in order for it to live up to the price. Or should i just replace intel liquid cooler with the h80?

I dont know how i overlooked this post, i do apologize. Your absolutely right about the temps, stock cooling can do the same thing. You should be seeing 30s at idle easy. Diagnosing it is the problem, could be low coolant, weak pump, restriction somewhere, any number of things. Start with easiest first, check fluid and hoses and hope you find a kink somewhere.
