Monitor Shutdown

Ok here's my issue I just rebuild my computer with a new motherboard, cpu, memory, side fan, optical drive, and solid state hard drive. Since then I have had my computer's monitors shut down every time I do something taxing or even multiple items at the same time. Now it's not the computer itself, that still runs, it the monitors (I have dual monitors.) And after shutting down down nothing I press can bring them back up, I have the restart the computer to get the monitors to turn back on. So here a few things 1) I've build computer before with great success but this has stomped me. 2) while attempting to install the drivers and software for the monitors I got a blue screen of death about its drivers (and never again). So I just installed from the disk that came with the video card before (that's whats working right now). Any Ideas?

its not "monitors" shutting down, its sounds more like video card(s) but you will have to clarify this post.

(and never again) meaning the blue screen error never happened again? Was this monitor drivers or video card drivers? What kind of video card are we even talking about?

No it just happened a few moments ago even after I installed new drivers. I have noticed however my computer makes a lot more noise right around the time it shuts off. Also yeah the blue screen hasn't happened again, Is it possible the video card got damaged when I moved it over? I really would prefer not to have to buy a new card.

what kind of video card?

If the card has its own fan, make sure its not ceased up or theres no wires hung in it. It could very well be running hot and locking up the gpu.
